DESCRIPTION:Franco Center to provide scares with its Halloween-themed Fright Nights  \nLEWISTON—As a chilly fog settles along the riverfront in Lewiston-Auburn\, and a cool breeze rustles through the remaining foliage\, the Franco Center will open its crypt for Fright Night on Tuesday\, Wednesday\, and Thursday\, Oct. 25\, 26\, and 27.  \nThe maze will be open from noon to 5 p.m. each day of the event for $6 per person. During this time\, the maze will provide less of a scare than the nightly maze.  \nEach night of the event\, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. dozens of trained and costumed actors will play the parts of ghoulish and scary characters in the indoor maze. The cost will be $10 per person.  \n“These actors\, who we call our scream team\, will provide nightly entertainment while also watching to keep people safe and moving along\,” said Franco Center Production Manager Jake Hodgkin. He described the special lighting and sound effects that will accompany the creepy decorations as being worthy of the price of admission. “Thrill seekers will have to maneuver through twists and turns to get out of the maze. Prepared to be scared.”  \nTickets can be purchased online at www.francocenter.org\, by phone at 207-689-2000\, or in person at our box office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Franco Center is at 46 Cedar St.\, Lewiston. Parking is available in the mill lot. The building is handicap accessible on the Lincoln St. Alley side.   \nTICKETS AVAILABLE HERE
