Join us at 6 p.m. Wednesday\, June 24\, 2026\, at the Franco Center\, 46 Cedar St.\, Lewiston. Ticket prices include dinner and are $22/adults; $18/seniors; and $12/children under 12. Ticket sales end June 17\, which is one week before the event\, so get your tickets now! This program is made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Québec Delegation in Boston\, TV5MONDE and Schooner Estates. \nThis collaboration between the USM Franco-American Collection and Franco Center promises to be an exciting tribute to St. Jean-Baptiste celebrations of days gone by. St. Jean-Baptiste\, the patron saint of Québec\, inspired large-scale parades\, parties\, and special religious masses in Lewiston between the late-19th century and the mid-20th century. According to the Sun Journal in 1940\, the St. Jean-Baptiste celebration was so large\, they needed two separate parades to include all the floats and participants. Traditionally\, a local boy with curly\, blond hair would be selected to portray St. Jean-Baptiste in the parade–and don’t worry\, we’ll have pictures to prove it! If you are one of these St. Jean-Baptistes\, we hope you are able to join us this June 24th to be recognized at the event. \nThe doors will open at 5 p.m.\, along with the cash bar and conversation in French and English. At 6 p.m.\, dinner will begin. Music\, featuring Robert Sylvain and Steve Muise\, will begin at 6:30 p.m.; and Greg Boardman and his son Aidan Boardman will take the stage at 8 p.m. The dinner menu will include Franco-American foods\, featuring Pâté chinois! There will also be a vegetarian version of Pâté chinois\, and a green salad and rolls. Water\, lemonade and coffee drinks are free with your ticket\, and sodas and bar drinks available for purchase. Ticket prices are as follows: \nAdults: $22 \nSeniors: $18 \nChildren 12 and under: $12 \nTICKETS: https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?show=321811 \nAbout the musicians: \nTwo friends\, fiddler Steve Muise and singer Robert Sylvain play music rooted in the traditions of their shared Acadian heritage. Both from musical families\, they inherited a treasure trove of catchy maritime fiddle tunes and old French-language folk songs which they bring together with modern sensibilities and original material that speaks to the continuing influence of Franco-American culture in New England. The result is a rhythmically unstoppable\, lyrically fantastic blend of musical history and innovation that invites audiences from all backgrounds to revel in authentic Acadian joie de vivre. \nGreg Boardman performs in the tradition of the downeast fiddler\, drawing from a Scotch\, Irish and French repertoire. Greg has fiddled for concerts and dances\, collected and recorded Maine Indigenous music\, and taught for many years. He currently plays as a soloist and with his quartet\, Boardman and Sons\, and is active as a leader of fiddle workshops involving musicians of all ages\, abilities\, disciplines and instruments. His workshops involve diverse aspects of local culture and history and are designed to enhance existing programs and inspire new ones. \nAidan Boardman is a life-long musician from Lewiston/Auburn\, ME. Before\, during\, and after earning a Bachelor’s in Music Education at Ithaca College\, he has been writing\, performing and teaching music (voice\, guitar\, ukulele\, piano) for folks of all ages. Aidan currently resides in Portland\, where he teaches general elementary music in the Portland Public Schools. Recordings produced by Aidan can primarily be found under the pseudonyms Anguid\, and Dreamt. \nFor more information or to reserve your seat\, contact the Franco Center at 207-689-2000 or www.francocenter.org/shows. A self-taught vocalist with powerhouse influences like Whitney Houston\, Ariana Grande\, Freddie Mercury\, and Michael Jackson\, she performs as 25 different women in the show — each one a tribute to the icons who shaped her.  \nWith a background in theatre and a passion for storytelling through song\, Jordan built Crowned28 from the ground up to break free from the limitations of traditional auditions and show the world what she’s truly capable of. Her mission: to create a space where talent isn’t confined to 36 bars and five-minute decisions — but given a full spotlight. With theatrical flair\, live vocals\, and fearless range\, Jordan is redefining what a tribute show can be.  \nAYSA CARNUCCI  \nVOCALIST  \nAysa D. Carnucci is thrilled to “turn back time” and bring her inner Cher to life with CROWNED28. She brings a deep love for music\, performing and character to the stage. Her mission? To help people find their love and passion for music in ways they never thought possible. Getting people up and jumping around to the best vocals of our time. Endless thanks to friends\, family\, and fellow artists for their constant support!  \nMARIAH DELAGE  \nVOCALIST  \nMariah Delage is a high-energy performer with a burning passion to entertain.  \nAs a little girl\, she recognized performing as one of her true loves\, and continued chasing toward that dream fearlessly. She studied music throughout her middle/high schooling years\, and continued on to study performing arts in California\, where she attended college at the Young Americans College of Performing Arts. There\, she continued to build on a life long passion for performing.\n Influenced heavily by the soul roots of R&B and the punchy hooks of pop\, she brings emotion and raw\, authentic energy to each performance and stage she touches. She is so excited to share that same energy with the amazing cast of Crowned28 and YOU!\n Though currently based out of New Hampshire\, Mariah has earned recognition both locally and internationally\, including awards such as Top Female Vocalist in Nashville\, Tennessee and Best Voice in Keene in Keene\, New Hampshire.\n Her vision? To bring people together through the gift of music…to spark connection\, and create a safe space for everybody; to be\, to express\, & to feel.\n She wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and everyone for their ongoing support over the years. So deepest thanks and gratitude to you!\n Please feel free to follow her on social media as she continues her journey – @mariahdelage  \nDEREK TANCH  \nKEYS  \nDerek Tanch is a long time keyboardist and music educator by trade. He is a private piano teacher to upwards of 50 students and has been teaching for over a decade. He is also an independent artist\, being a member of the band Professor Caffeine & the Insecurities\, and the creator of a solo project called Mid Boss.  \n   \nIn the recent past he toured with the band Wanted DOA\, a Bon Jovi tribute band fronted by vocalist Rich Figurido\, who tragically passed away from melanoma in March of 2023. The band performed all over\, often at large venues in the state of NJ such as The Wave and Levoy Theater\, and at varying venues in the states of NY\, MD\, VA\, WV\, SC\, and FL.   \nFollowing the dissolution of Wanted DOA\, he continues to be active in the Bon Jovi Tribute arena; now working ever since as the sitting keyboardist for the band Living on a Bad Name\, a band whose travel record is as if not even more extensive.  \nHe is honored to be a part of the show CROWNED28 and greatly looks forward to providing for the audience the long overdue tribute to women in music they deserve. He and the rest of the band are confident you will not be disappointed.  \nGREG KIEFFER  \nGUITAR  \nHaving been playing for 25 years\, Greg started playing rock music as soon as he got his first electric guitar. With influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Frank Gambale\, he’s been pushing his limits with the instrument at every opportunity. For the last 10 years he’s been playing on the rock and jam band scenes in the New England area\, and is in 2 original bands in addition to Crowned 28 that are expected to release music within the next few years.  \nSCOTT ARMSTRONG  \nBASS  \nScott Armstrong is a passionate and versatile musician whose journey began behind the drum kit and with a guitar in hand. From an early age\, Scott found comfort and expression through music\, using it as a powerful form of personal therapy and connection. Over the years\, his deep love for rhythm and melody evolved into a unique solo performance style that blends live instrumentation with modern looping techniques.  \nRecently stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist\, Scott crafts immersive soundscapes by seamlessly looping drums\, guitar\, and bass. His performances are carefully curated to create a warm\, inviting atmosphere—perfect for intimate venues and dining experiences where music becomes part of the ambiance.  \nScott thrives on building community through his music\, sharing his talents to bring people together and elevate the moment. With a heart for collaboration and a drive for authenticity\, he continues to explore new musical horizons.  \nScott is excited to be performing for CROWNED28\, and he looks forward to contributing his energy and sound to a vibrant and inspiring event.  \n
