Maine Music Society: A Season of Celebration Concert

Usher in the holiday season with this family-friendly concert
Saturday, December 11 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 12 at 3:00 pm, 2021
Our new director, Dr. Rick Nickerson, will usher in the season by celebrating time-held traditions while creating new ones. The program will include many familiar works and feature Robert Shaw’s Many Moods of Christmas, Suite #3 and Michael John Trotta’s Gloria. This family-friendly concert promises to bring out the memories, spirit, celebration and magic of the holiday season.

Please read the following before purchasing tickets as there have been several changes to our concert attendance policy.
Due to the rise of the highly contagious Delta variant across the state and nation, we are announcing new safety protocols for Maine Music Society events at the Franco Center.
Effective immediately, all MMS audience members, staff, volunteers and performers age 12 and over will be required to:
1. Provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19.
Accepted proof of vaccination includes the original vaccination card, a printed copy of the vaccination card, or a digital photograph of the vaccination card. The final dose of the vaccine must have been administered 14 days prior to event start time.
OR
Provide printed proof of a negative Covid-19 PCR test from an authorized provider within 72 hours prior to the event start time or a negative rapid test within 12 hours prior to the event start time.
Accepted proof of negative test includes a printed or digital copy of negative Covid-19 PCR test from an authorized provider within 72 hours prior to the event start time, or a printed or digital copy of negative Covid-19 rapid test within 12 hours prior to the event start time. At home test results will not be accepted.
Children under 12 years of age do not have to show proof of vaccination against Covid- 19 or proof of negative Covid-19 test, but they are required to wear a face mask while inside the Franco Center.
2. Wear a mask at all times while in the Franco Center.
Unless being otherwise exempt from wearing a mask because of a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Wear a mask that covers your nose, mouth, and chin, unless you have a written medical exemption.
Scarves, neck gaiters, or other loosely woven materials are not acceptable alternatives to wearing a mask.
Masks are also required for all attendees over 2 years of age, and are to be worn at all times while in the facilities.
3. Current ticket holders or subscribers unable to comply with these safety protocols may opt to take advantage of free exchanges into other MMS concerts in the 2021-22 season, donate the cost of your tickets, or request a full refund by calling MMS at 333-3386.
These policies for our collective health and safety will remain in effect until further notice and are subject to change.
