Photo taken pre-1900 of the Continental Mill, one of many Lewiston-Auburn mills which attracted immigrant labor to the area. This mill is located across the street from Little Canada and the former St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston, on the corner of Oxford and Cedar streets. The building has been purchased by New Hampshire-based developer Chinburg Properties and plans are to turn it into 400 apartments and retail space.
