The Franco Center will host two nights of dance lessons–June 16 and 30–prior to kicking off its Thursday Night Live dance events on July 14.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with socializing and happy hour followed by dancing from 7 to 9 p.m. Our very own production manager, Jake Hodgkin, will show us how to do the moves for the most popular line dances including Cotton Eye Joe, the Macarena, Stayin’ Alive, Y.M.C.A., September, Wobble, Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle, and Boot Scootin’ Boogie. Admission is only $5 per person and can be paid at the door or purchase tickets online at francocenter.org or by phone at 207-689-2000. Franco staff will be learning these dance moves right along with you!
