La Rencontre to celebrate St. Jean de Baptiste Day

La Rencontre in June will be a celebration of St. Jean de Baptiste Day. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23, which is the day before the actual French national holiday. Tickets are $15 and will not be sold at the door and must be purchased by noon on Monday, June 20. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. A full cash bar will be available. Lunch (food to be determined) will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by entertainment by Don and Cindy Roy, who founded the very popular 140-member group of musicians known as Fiddle-icious many years ago.
